The new 2014 Silverado has been developed through 95 years of heritage of trucks, in which it has sought to raise the level of full-size pickups. The 2014 Silverado will become part of the portfolio of Chevrolet trucks, designed to allow customers to choose the right vehicle for your needs. He joins the Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 HD pickups, the most advanced instruments for towing and hauling, which was new for the 2011 model year.

The new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is designed and manufactured to offer the ability - without compromise - that customers have come to expect from Chevrolet trucks.
The exterior design combines the strong heritage of the Chevy trucks with a refined and modern aesthetics. The new design is more muscular, more functional and more aerodynamic. A double grille, full-width bumper and hood twin dome to create a stronger presence, which is done through the sculpted body sides and fender flares.

The redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is much more than just looks, though. The new interface is designed to enhance sealing more efficient cooling, while the roof and tailgate spoiler are shaped in the wind tunnel to smooth airflow over the truck to reduce drag. Under the hood, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has a family of three new engines EcoTec3 a V-6 and two V-8 engines, designed specifically for use in full-size trucks. All three engines feature direct fuel injection, cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing, a combination of advanced technologies that are not in the trucks of other competitors.

The engine family includes a new 4.3L V-6 that will have ample torque to drive a crew cab truck and tow a substantial trailer, as well as a new V-8 5.3 liter designed for more power, more torque and more efficient than the current version, which is currently the leading V-8 fuel economy. A new V-8 6.2 liter is designed to be the most capable engine in any light-duty truck.

The brand new interiors of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 reflect the same focus on form and function. The vertical instrument panel and multiple storage options are tailored specifically to the needs of truck customers. The controls are functional, logically placed and easy to operate with gloves work. Rear door Crew Cabs are larger for easy entry and exit, and the rear doors on extended cab models are now hinged at the front for easy access, especially in tight spaces.
